Feeling the desire to go on a Morocco desert tour; is expected once you come to the country like Morocco. Sahara desert attracts every human being with its magnificent dunes, starry nights and mystical aura mixed with the silence of eternity. It makes you connected to the nature and to your own thoughts about beauty of the life.
The Morocco desert tour is perfect for combining the High Atlas mountains and the desert, two formations so close to each other, yet so different. After booking a tour to the desert, you have to start packing yourself. This is much different than packing for a weekend getaway to Paris or Rome. We will help you with some tips to avoid confusion and to save your precious time 🙂
First of all, you need to pack light – one medium-size backpack will be just enough. On your way to the desert, while crossing the High Atlas, wear something comfortable: T-shirt and ¾ light pants will be fine for both girls and guys; girls can even wear medium size comfortable dress if the day is hot. Don’t forget to pack some extra clothes and underwear, pyjamas, one long sleeved item and a jacket or sweater. If you will have a chance to take a short swim in a hotel, take also your bathing suit.
For the desert you will need comfortable pants (girls, at this point of the journey forget the dress!), snickers and a scarf or pashmina. Sunscreen is recommended through the whole journey – the paler you are the higher SPF should be. Take basic toiletries: toothbrush and toothpaste, shower gel, deodorant, comb, moisturized tissues, small towel. In the desert camp it is very useful to have a flashlight. Bring also at least one or two big bottles of water, since you can’t find it in the desert camp.
One of the most important items to bring is your camera, together with charger or extra batteries. Mountain landscapes and magnificent desert just call you to take photos all the time!
To make it easier for you, we made a little list of things you have to pack with you:
